S4S Locum Team is recruiting qualified Orthodontic Therapists for flexible locum opportunities across Yorkshire, the Midlands, North West and North East, with our practice network continuing to grow.
Whether you want occasional shifts alongside another role, extra work around your existing commitments or more regular locum opportunities, you choose your availability and the areas you’re happy to travel to.
And just like the rest of our locum team, we want our Orthodontic Therapists to feel supported, valued and genuinely part of S4S Locum Team — not simply contacted when somebody needs a shift filling.

Choose how you provide your services
Our Locum Orthodontic Therapists work on a self-employed basis, invoice the practice directly for the work they complete, and set their own rates and terms & conditions. Rates typically fall between £30 and £40 per hour, depending on the individual booking and agreed terms.

We take into account your location, availability, experience and preferences, alongside the requirements of the practice, when offering suitable work.

Where we’re recruiting
We’re currently looking for Locum Orthodontic Therapists across Yorkshire, the Midlands, North West and North East.
Our network continues to expand, so if you’re outside these areas, it is still worth getting in touch. We may already have practices looking for support nearby or be developing opportunities in your location.
What we’re looking for
You’ll need to be:
Qualified as an Orthodontic Therapist
GDC-registered
Reliable, professional and comfortable adapting to different practice environments
Confident working independently within your scope of practice
Comfortable communicating with different dental and orthodontic teams
Able to provide the documentation required to complete our thorough onboarding and compliance process
Someone who takes pride in providing a great experience for both practices and patients
