Guaranteed Hours Dental Nurse – Leeds & Bradford | Ambassador Role
Looking for Locum Dental Nurse work in Leeds or Bradford with the flexibility of locum work and the option of greater financial security?
S4S Locum Team is recruiting for a Guaranteed Hours Dental Nurse role covering Leeds and/or Bradford, with the opportunity to become part of our S4S Ambassador team.
We’re offering a Guaranteed Hours position for 4 or 5 days per week, giving you a guaranteed minimum level of pay each month based on your agreed availability, while still enjoying the flexibility and variety of working across different dental practices.
Depending on your location and travel preferences, your work may be focused mainly around Leeds, Bradford or a combination of both areas.
We also recruit part-time Locum Dental Nurses across Leeds, Bradford and surrounding areas, so if you prefer more flexibility without a Guaranteed Hours commitment, we’d still love to hear from you.
Our aim is to make locum work feel properly supported — with fair shift allocation, PAYE, competitive pay, development opportunities and a team that gets to know the people who work with us.
About the role
As a Guaranteed Hours Dental Nurse with S4S Locum Team, you’ll work across a range of dental practices in Leeds, Bradford and the surrounding areas, supporting teams with planned and short-notice cover while bringing your experience, professionalism and adaptability into different practice environments.
You’ll commit to being available for 4 or 5 agreed days per week, with a guaranteed minimum level of monthly pay based on that commitment.
This role is ideal for a Dental Nurse who enjoys variety, is confident adapting to different teams and wants the flexibility of locum work with more predictable income.
What you’ll get
Guaranteed minimum monthly pay based on your agreed 4 or 5 day weekly commitment
£17.25–£20.25 per hour PAYE, depending on the type of shift you work
Higher rates within this range for same-day, weekend and specialist nursing shifts
Additional pay uplift to contribute towards parking costs where paid parking is required
Access to CPD and development opportunities
Support from the S4S Locum Team throughout your bookings
The opportunity to become part of our S4S Ambassador team
Use of the S4S Locum Team app to manage availability, bookings and timesheets
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for an experienced Dental Nurse who is comfortable working across different practices and enjoys being part of a team that takes pride in the service it provides.
You’ll need to be:
GDC-registered as a Dental Nurse
Qualified with at least one year of chairside experience
Reliable, professional and confident adapting to different practice environments
Happy to travel across Leeds, Bradford and surrounding areas, with a travel radius of around 40 miles where needed, although we’ll always aim to offer local bookings wherever possible
Comfortable communicating with different teams and representing S4S Locum Team professionally
Flexible enough to work the 4 or 5 agreed Guaranteed Hours days each week

Represent S4S Locum Team positively in both new and existing dental practices, helping us build strong relationships with the teams we support.
Help us grow locally across Leeds and Bradford by visiting practices when you’re not booked on a shift, introducing S4S Locum Team and helping create new connections.
Work closely with your Area Development Manager, sharing feedback and helping us understand what practices and locums need across West Yorkshire.
Get involved with our marketing, working with our Marketing & People Engagement Director to share genuine stories, photos and content from life as an S4S locum.
Support the wider S4S community by engaging with company updates, celebrating other team members and helping new people feel part of the team.
Set a strong example through your reliability, professionalism and the way you represent S4S Locum Team.
