Locum Dental Hygienist & Therapist Jobs
Flexible locum work. Proper support. More control over when and where you work.
Looking for Locum Dental Hygienist or Therapist work that fits around your life and gives you more control over your working week?
S4S Locum Team is recruiting qualified Dental Hygienists and Therapists for flexible locum opportunities across Yorkshire, the Midlands, North West and North East, with our practice network continuing to grow.
Whether you want occasional shifts alongside another role, extra work around your existing commitments or more regular locum opportunities, you choose your availability and the areas you’re happy to travel to.
And while the flexibility matters, we also want working with S4S Locum Team to feel properly supported. We get to know the people who work with us, understand what they’re looking for and build long-term relationships rather than simply sending out shifts.
Why Dental Hygienists & Therapists choose S4S Locum Team
You choose when and where you work
There’s no minimum number of shifts you need to accept. Tell us when you’re available and which areas you’re happy to travel to, and we’ll work around you.
Work on a self-employed basis
Our Locum Dental Hygienists and Therapists work on a self-employed basis, invoice the dental practice directly for the work they complete and set their own hourly rates. Rates typically fall between £38 and £50 per hour, depending on the individual booking and agreed terms.
Flexible opportunities that fit around you
Whether you want an occasional extra day, regular weekly work or something that fits around your own practice or another role, we’ll talk through the opportunities available in your area.
Fair and considered shift allocation
We don’t operate a first-come, first-served free-for-all. We consider your location, availability, experience and preferences, alongside what the dental practice needs, when offering suitable opportunities.
Technology that keeps everything organised
Our S4S Locum Team app helps you manage your availability, receive shift opportunities and view your upcoming bookings in one place.
Support from real people
You’ll have support from our recruitment and Area Development teams throughout your time with S4S Locum Team.
If you need help with a booking, have a question or simply want to speak to somebody, there’s a real person at the other end of the phone.
A wider team you can be part of
We want the professionals who work with us to feel valued and connected. We share company updates, celebrate great work and give people opportunities to become more involved with the wider S4S Locum Team community.
